Credit Analyst - Alternative Credit Platform

A growing Alternative Credit platform with over $7B in AUM is seeking an Credit Analyst to analyze and monitor credit investments while contributing to portfolio management strategies. This role requires 4 days in-office with 1 flexible WFH day, offering a fantastic opportunity to gain experience and grow within a dynamic company.

Job Function

• Analyze, recommend, and monitor credit investments, focusing on leveraged loans, high-yield bonds, and other credit assets in primary and secondary markets.
• Develop and present investment theses and recommendations to the investment committee, collaborating with portfolio managers to rebalance portfolios.
• Evaluate company fundamentals, industry trends, key operating metrics, business quality, competitive positioning, and valuation.
• Conduct detailed financial modeling and due diligence on corporate debt issuers.
• Analyze credit agreements, indentures, and other legal and regulatory issues related to issuers.
• Participate in debt restructurings of distressed debt issuers as needed.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within leveraged loan and high-yield credit research/analysis.
• Detailed working experience in bank loan credit agreements.
• DCF financial modeling experience is essential.
• CFA qualification is a plus.
