Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, including handling cash handling procedures and processing sales transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and assisting with food handling safety protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly to foster positive guest relations
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing tabs
- Familiarity with wine knowledge, spirits experience, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and guest satisfaction
