Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! As a Server, you will be the friendly face that welcomes guests, delivers exceptional service, and creates memorable dining experiences. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and drinks, handling transactions accurately, and ensuring every guest leaves happy. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, including sales transaction processing and cash handling
• Upsell menu items, including wines, spirits, cocktails, and special dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of menu items, wine pairings, spirits, and beverage service to assist guests in making informed choices
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation protocols at all times
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations quickly
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and specialty dishes
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing bills seamlessly
• Culinary experience or food preparation knowledge is a plus for better understanding of menu offerings
• Experience with beverage service including spirits, wine pairing, cocktail making, and alcohol regulations
• Familiarity with restaurant operations such as bussing, host/hostess duties, cashiering, and sanitation practices
• Strong communication skills combined with a friendly attitude to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests

Pay: $16.00 - $27.20 per hour
