- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Handle retail sales transactions with precision, including cash handling and processing payments through POS terminals
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and seating areas
- Ensure food safety standards are followed during beverage preparation and food handling activities
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality service standards
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or café environments with barista experience preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
