Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and smoothies with precision and care
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately
- Engage with customers warmly, providing excellent customer service and answering questions about menu items
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area by cleaning equipment, counters, and seating areas regularly
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and give correct change using basic math skills
- Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve beverages promptly while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for coffee culture is a plus!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
