The Health Information Intern will gain hands-on experience utilizing electronic health records (EHR) while developing an understanding of Health Information operations and cross-department collaboration within Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay. Strengthen professional communication and interpersonal skills through interactions with internal departments and external organizations.

The Health Information Intern will gain hands-on experience utilizing electronic health records (EHR) while developing an understanding of Health Information operations and cross-department collaboration within Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay. Strengthen professional communication and interpersonal skills through interactions with internal departments and external organizations.
What You’ll Do In This Role
- Gain experience navigating and utilizing the electronic health record (EHR).
- Become familiar with the relationships the health information department has within the Westminster Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay campus.
- Develop soft skills related to the interactions Health Information has with different departments and organizations internal and external of Westminster Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay.
- All other duties as assigned.
