Certified Med Aide
Job Summary:
Westfield Quality Care of Aurora, a long-term nursing facility, is seeking Full-time Certified Med Aides and CNAs to join our team. As a Certified Med Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents while working in our skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the administration of medications and treatments to residents as directed by the nursing staff
Monitor and record residents' vital signs and provide basic care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents, including patient rooms and common areas
Participate in care planning and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:
Must have a valid CNA and Medication Aide Certificate with the State of Nebraska
Ability to work varying shifts, including Day (6-2pm), Evening (2-10pm), and Night (6p-6a)
Ability to commute to Aurora, NE 68818 (Required)
Preferred shift availability: Day Shift, Evening Shift, and Night Shift
