Position Summary
Under the guidance of the 1st VP, Credit Administration, the AVP, Portfolio Analytics is responsible for the internal loan review program and overseeing the day-to-day functions of the Portfolio and Document Specialists. Ensures that all policies, procedures and regulations are followed as they pertain to the department.
Essential Functions
- Oversees the internal loan review process, ensuring the review program meets or exceeds regulatory guidance on an annual basis.
- Completes and documents loan review analyses on specific segments of the commercial loan portfolio that are strategically targeted to supplement external loan review.
- Guides, directs and develops training and work assignments of subordinates.
- Identifies weaknesses and coordinates training for staff as needed.
- Monitors the financial statement tickler process and assumes responsibility for the software utilized to maintain the ticklers. Makes appropriate recommendations to Management on changes, additions or replacement of system.
- Keeps abreast of all regulatory changes, internal policy and procedure updates.
- Strategize and update workflow procedures and technology to create efficiencies within the department.
- Assists in responding to requests of outside and inside auditors, examiners and external loan review.
- Performs Credit Administration related duties as needed.
- Must complete BSA, AML, and other Regulatory and Continuing Education as assigned.
- Must adhere to all bank and regulatory policies and procedures specific to position. Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.

- Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent work-related experience required.
- One to three years of management experience
- Knowledge of each operational aspect of the department.
