- Prior experience developing and implementing IEPs and positive behavior plans is preferred.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred.
- Prior experience working in a pre-school setting preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondences in the English language.

SUMMARY: The Early Childhood Special Education Teacher provides instruction to learners while creating a safe and nurturing classroom environment designed to promote social emotional learning along with following each learners' Individualized Education Program (IEP). The Early Childhood Special Education Teacher would teach a morning classroom, and in the afternoon would either perform evaluations/itinerant services or team-teach a larger class, depending on the growing needs and enrollment.
