Restructure Analyst / Solutions Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Restructure Analyst / Solutions Consultant to join our team in Tempe, AZ. This is a high-impact role focused on saving deals, structuring complex loans, and driving loans to closing by partnering closely with Sales, Processing, and Underwriting.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze and restructure mortgage scenarios to salvage and close challenging loans
• Collaborate directly with Loan Officers, Processors, and Underwriters to move loans through the pipeline
• Work across a wide range of products including:
• Conventional (Fannie Mae / Freddie Mac)
• FHA & VA
• Second Mortgages (HELOC / Closed-End Seconds)
• Non-QM products
• Review income documentation (tax returns, paystubs, etc.) to identify qualifying opportunities and maximize income
• Navigate and interpret guidelines and AUS findings to structure viable loan solutions
• Identify and work around investor overlays by sourcing alternative investors when needed
• Re-engage and educate borrowers when necessary to position the value of the loan solution
• Act as a problem-solver and deal advocate from structuring through funding

What We’re Looking For

• 5 years of mortgage industry experience
• Prior experience in a broker environment strongly preferred
• Proven success in a sales-driven role with strong ECR/performance metrics
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure complex loan scenarios
• Detail-oriented with the ability to thoroughly review income and documentation
• Confident communicator who can push back on underwriting when justified
• Relentless mindset-does what it takes to get loans funded

• Agency and government guidelines
• Non-QM products
• AUS systems (DU/LP)
