- Coordinating and scheduling new and current drivers for a tractor assignment.
- Analyze and determine the best location to relocate drivers from one location to another, taking into consideration cost, travel time, and driver domicile.
- Managing of open tractors at all locations (Werner full service terminals, Shop locations across the country).
- Developing Plans of Action on equipment sitting open too long.
- Prioritizing and scheduling of tractors needed for a tractor assignment.
- Upon request locating specialized equipment for our Specialized Service divisions.
- Planning and directing current policy and guidelines to our off campus terminals.
- Manage driver layover for truck assignments, enter a driver’s layover, recovery and any extra pay earned while going through the tractor assignment process.
- Work in an email proxy and provide direction and problem resolution in Omaha and off site locations.
- Create daily reports for internal executives regarding equipment tracking, tractor recovery, and lay over pay details.
