What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Liaison position at Werner Enterprises?
The primary function of this job is to educate our current and newly hired drivers about the equipment (Tractor / Trailer) purchased today and how to properly operate and maintain this equipment. These instructors will hold classes at each terminal 1 to 2 times a day, provide one on one training and be on call to support our Driver Associates that may need additional support after the training. These instructors will work with most departments to insure the training is current and accurate.

- Will hold class room type settings Monday thru Friday at all Werner Terminals.
- Enroll our Driver Associates for CBT training as required for the type of truck they will be issued.
- Will be on call to help and support our Driver Associate needs after the training.
- One on one training for any Driver Associate who feels they need additional training.
- Take the Driver Associate out to their truck to walk thru the truck and answer any questions they may have.
- Work with all departments to insure the instructor is educating our Driver Associates on the latest equipment.
- Timely and regular attendance according to the scheduled shift as determined by supervisory personnel.
