Key Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Lead, motivate, and manage restaurant staff to achieve high performance and maintain a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Support training and development initiatives for team members.
- Assist in managing labor costs and operational budgets.
- Step in as acting General Manager when required.
- Implement company policies and procedures consistently.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in restaurant management or assistant management roles.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant management software is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality or management education preferred.
