Summary:
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Information Security Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Information Security Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel. Required Qualifications: Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deploy and manage Active Directory infrastructure, including domain controllers, group policies, and organizational units.
• Deploy and manage 14 applications supporting Active Directory.
• Update software and configurations to address vulnerabilities.
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex AD issues, including authentication, replication, and access control.
• Develop, update and enforce security standards for AD, including privileged access management and audit logging.
• Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and application teams to integrate AD with enterprise systems and cloud platforms.
• Maintain documentation and provide technical guidance for AD operations and best practices.
• Participate in compliance reviews and risk assessments related to identity and access management.
• Manage workload in Jira using Agile principles.
Key Requirements:
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Extensive experience with Active Directory administration in large enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Group Policy, DNS, and related technologies.
• Proven ability to design and implement secure AD architectures.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting (PowerShell preferred).
• Familiarity with IAM frameworks, privileged access management, and compliance requirements.
Preferred skills
• Experience with Azure AD, hybrid identity solutions, and cloud integrations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Experience with Microsoft HyperV Management.
