Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to support and enhance two enterprise‑level ServiceNow applications: Enterprise Service Portfolio (ESP) and Business Continuity Management (BCM). Both applications are currently in enhancement and maintenance mode, with continuous development and a strong emphasis on automation.
The ideal candidate will have deep hands‑on ServiceNow platform development experience, the ability to work across multiple applications, and proven success delivering solutions in an Agile, sprint‑based environment. This role requires both CSA and CAD certifications and strong integration and full‑stack Java experience.
Responsibilities:
Develop, enhance, and support enterprise‑level ServiceNow applications, primarily ESP and BCM
Work concurrently across two Agile sprints within the team
Lead complex initiatives within assigned domains
Design, develop, test, and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions, system components, tools, and utilities
Drive automation‑focused solutions, leveraging platform capabilities and frameworks
Define opportunities to improve processes, maximize resource utilization, and reduce operational costs
Lead and support compliance and risk management initiatives for supported areas
Collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including managers and senior leaders
Partner closely with production support and platform engineering teams
Influence technical direction and mentor development team members as needed
Qualifications:

Extensive hands‑on ServiceNow platform development experience
Demonstrated experience supporting new development and ongoing production support in ServiceNow
Proven integration experience within ServiceNow (candidate must be able to clearly articulate this)
Active ServiceNow certifications:
Certified System Administrator (CSA) (required)
Certified Application Developer (CAD) (required)
Strong full‑stack Java development experience to support custom solutions and integrations
Strong understanding of and experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment
Experience collaborating with globally dispersed teams
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a scrum team
Experience delivering solutions in an Agile delivery model
Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)
Experience using Playwright for automation testing (preferred)
Additional full‑stack Java development experience outside of ServiceNow (preferred)
BCM (Business Continuity Management) experience (preferred)
Strong development experience
Configuration experience also considered
Prior experience as a Wells Fargo ServiceNow contractor (strong bonus)
