Job Summary
We’re looking for a Senior Post Production Retouch Color Specialist to elevate the quality and consistency of all imagery across our brand. In this expert-level role, you will retouch, composite, and color-correct high-volume assets for both print (CMYK) and digital (RGB), ensuring flawless color accuracy and visual cohesion. You will partner closely with photographers, videographers, designers, and art directors to deliver imagery that meets the highest technical and creative standards.
This is a role for a highly skilled retoucher with exceptional color acuity, deep knowledge of pre-press and digital workflows, and mastery of Adobe Photoshop. If you thrive in detail-driven environments, excel under tight deadlines, and are passionate about producing visually impeccable work, this is an opportunity to shape the look and feel of a major product-driven brand.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Arts, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities
- Perform expert-level retouching, compositing, color correcting, and color matching for print and digital assets while maintaining accuracy across lighting, contrast, depth, and overall image quality.
- Ensure all imagery meets technical and creative standards established by brand guidelines and art direction.
- Collaborate with photographers, videographers, art directors, and designers to achieve the desired visual outcomes.
- Manage digital image files, naming conventions, and folder structures within the company’s eDAM and internal systems.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external print vendors to meet catalog print schedules and e-commerce launch timelines.
- Utilize and manage color accuracy software to ensure consistency across devices and platforms.
- Stay current on industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to high-end product retouching and color management.
- Support continuous improvements in workflow efficiency, process documentation, and file organization.
- Conduct proofing and quality control to ensure assets represent accurate, brand-true color across all channels.
- Maintain an organized, efficient, and detail-oriented approach to large volumes of imagery under tight deadlines.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Arts, or related field preferred.
Experience
- 10 years of retouching experience with expert-level command of Adobe Photoshop, plus working knowledge of InDesign and Illustrator required.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in a pre-media or production environment required.
- Deep understanding of digital image quality, including lighting, exposure, and color balance.
- Superior color acuity and the ability to accurately match images to product colors.
- Strong ability to multitask, organize, and problem-solve under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of pre-press, CMYK/RGB workflows, image conversion, and digital color calibration systems.
- Photography experience and familiarity with CaptureOne.
- Experience working within a digital asset management (DAM) environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expert-level retouching and before/after work (required).
- Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Video editing experience is a plus but not required.
- Successful completion of the Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue Test required upon hire.
