We are assisting a client, a large national law firm with international presence, with a search for a Legal Administrative Assistant to join their Atlanta, GA office. The ideal candidate will have experience with litigation and mastering secretarial and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Familiar with State and Federal Court filings and e-filing requirements.
- Transcribe legal documents and correspondence.
- Open new client matters, prepare and review conflicts, and close matters.
- Schedule attorney meetings, travel itineraries, and manage attorney calendars.
- Assist with preparation of trial, hearing, and deposition binders.
- Create, edit, and proofread legal documents and correspondence.
Qualifications
- 3 years of litigation experience.
- Excellent grammar and proofreading skills.
- Ability to transcribe legal documents and correspondence from dictation.
- Strong knowledge of TOC and TOA.
