What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Attorney Associate position at Wegman Partners?
I am working with a V10 Firm's premier Capital Markets and Finance Group looking for an associate to join its busy team. This is a Band 1 Group with one of the most elite corporate practices globally.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2-7 years of experience representing issuers, underwriters, borrowers, and lenders on a range of structured finance and asset-backed lending transactions, including collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), collateralized fund obligations (CFOs), asset-backed securitization finance facilities, NAV facilities, and other fund finance transactions
- Excellent academic credentials (top law school/grades)
This firm has a small/medium sized DC office that offers the intimate and collaborative feel of a boutique, while maintaining the benefits of being a V10 firm's Band 1 group. Associates get significant substantive experience (think 4th and 5th years getting to run deals), client interaction, and one-on-one mentorship with partners. Associate training and development is a priority. This is also a premier group within the firm and provides an excellent runway for advancement.
The firm offers top of the market compensation and no billable requirement.
