Job Summary
Sebree Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time teacher to join our dynamic educational team. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, including formative and summative assessments.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
• Collaborate with fellow educators, staff, and administration to enhance curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavioral issues, and academic achievements.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and enhance teaching skills.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, orderly environment conducive to learning.
• Integrate technology into the classroom to enhance instruction and engage students.
• Support and participate in school events, committees, and community outreach initiatives.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the varying needs of students, including those with special needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification for elementary education in the state.
• Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging and inclusive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
• Proficiency in technology and its application in the classroom.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Previous teaching experience at the elementary level is preferred but not required.
• Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
