Responsibilities
- Assist classroom teachers in the delivery of instructional materials and activities.
- Provide support to students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
- Help create and maintain an inclusive and positive classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback and encouragement as needed.
- Prepare instructional materials and assist in classroom organization and management.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans and educational activities.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training sessions.
- Assist in the assessment and evaluation of student performance and progress.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student records and personal information.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervising teacher or school administration.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in education or child development preferred.
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
- Ability to adapt to various learning styles and provide individualized support to students.
- Proficient in using educational technology and software to assist in instruction.
