What You Will Do As a member of the Mathematics Department and the Upper School faculty, you will:
- Design and teach engaging, rigorous courses in probability, statistics, and AP Statistics, with the ability to teach other Upper School math courses as needed
- Create a classroom culture where curiosity, persistence, and intellectual risk-taking are expected and supported
- Use varied assessments and feedback to promote reflection, growth, and mastery
- Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen curriculum alignment and advance departmental goals
- Integrate technology and innovative pedagogy to deepen understanding and engagement
- Build strong relationships with students and families through clear communication and mentorship
- Contribute actively to the life of the school as an advisor, colleague, and community member

You Likely Have
- A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (advanced degrees preferred)
- Demonstrated success teaching high school mathematics, with a strength in probability and statistics
- Experience teaching or readiness to teach AP Statistics
- The flexibility and content knowledge to teach additional Upper School math courses
- A student-centered approach that balances rigor with support
