I'm currently partnering with a well-established commercial general contractor in the Charleston area to recruit an experienced Project Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected builder with a strong pipeline of various commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans
• Lead subcontractor buyout, contract negotiations, and vendor management
• Coordinate field operations with superintendents and project teams
• Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Monitor project costs and forecast financial performance
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

Criteria

• 3–5 years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and project delivery
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, procurement, and subcontractor relationship
