CARPENTER – COURTHOUSE RENOVATIONS
Texas | Travel Required | Full-Time
We’re looking for skilled Carpenters to join our team working on courthouse renovation projects across Texas.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced carpenter who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working on varied renovation projects. The role will have a particular emphasis on framing, doors, and trim/finish carpentry, with work taking place at courthouse sites throughout the state.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete carpentry work on courthouse renovation projects
- Install and modify wood and metal framing
- Install, repair, and adjust doors, frames, and hardware
- Perform trim and finish carpentry, including baseboards, casings, moldings, and other architectural details
- Read and work from construction drawings and specifications
- Carry out demolition, alterations, and general carpentry work as required
- Ensure finished work meets project specifications and high-quality standards
- Work effectively as part of a site team while also being able to work independently
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Carpenter
- Strong experience in framing, door installation, and trim/finish carpentry
- Experience installing and finishing architectural trim with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout Texas
- Commercial construction and/or renovation experience preferred
