Location/Schedule: Hybrid (primarily NJ/NY offices – flexible arrangement)
Base Salary: Up to $220k (plus performance incentives)
Practice: Insurance Defense – Complex general liability, premises liability, auto, construction defect, and high-exposure casualty defense for insurers and insureds in NY, NJ, PA, and CT.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Defend insureds in complex general liability, premises, auto, and construction defect cases through discovery, depositions, and trial.
- Analyze coverage issues, prepare coverage opinions, and coordinate with coverage counsel.
- Draft motions, briefs, discovery responses, and settlement agreements.
- Manage high-exposure files and provide strategic litigation advice to insurers and corporate clients.
Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates):
- JD and active bar admission in NY and/or NJ (additional jurisdictions a plus).
- 5–10 years of insurance defense or complex litigation experience with strong trial and negotiation skills.
