Yard Porter Position Overview
WCTractor is seeking a reliable Yard Porter to support daily operations at our Navasota location. This role is essential to keeping our yard organized, safe, and running smoothly. The Yard Porter assists with moving equipment, maintaining the lot, and supporting the sales and service teams as needed.
This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in keeping things orderly, and works well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities

Move equipment around the yard and between locations as directed

Assist with loading and unloading equipment and attachments

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard and lot area

Wash, fuel, and stage equipment as needed

Perform basic inspections and report any visible damage or issues

Support sales and service teams with general yard and operational tasks

Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
Yard Porter Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Valid driver’s license required

Ability to safely operate or learn to operate equipment such as tractors, skid steers, or forklifts

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the day

Strong attention to safety and detail

Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, equipment dealership, or similar environment is a plus but not required.
