Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, personable Administrative Assistant to join our rapidly growing Medicaid department. The ideal candidate must be organized, self-starter/independent in workflow and possess strong clerical skills related to the legal industry. The Administrative Assistant will report to our Director of Comprehensive Planning (Medicaid Department) and work for the collective of the department.
Duties
- Assist Director of Comprehensive Planning in a task-based system to appropriately organize and file Medicaid applications.
- Perform duties as needed for office management – ordering of supplies, calendar management, conference room coordination
- Send and receive inbound and outbound mail
- File management (paper and electronically) along with clerical tasks such as document organization, scanning, client onboarding administration
- Coordinate meetings/phone calls for our Director of Comprehensive Planning
- Accessing and review of bank/financial statements and online accounts and programs
- Accessing Asset Search software program
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor or Principal Attorney
- Case load oversight with supervision from Director of Comprehensive Planning
Experience
- Prior experience in Elder Law or related field highly preferred
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
