Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, personable Legal Assistant to join our rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate must be organized and energetic, as well as possess strong clerical skills related to the legal industry. The Legal Assistant will report to our Director of Comprehensive Planning.
Duties
- Assist Director of Comprehensive Planning in a task-based system to appropriately organize and file Medicaid applications
- Send and receive inbound and outbound mail
- Perform clerical tasks such as document organization, scanning, and shredding
- Coordinate meetings for the Director of Comprehensive Planning
- Review of financial and bank statements
Experience
- Prior experience in Elder Law or related field highly preferred
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
Salary Commensurate with Experience
