What you'll do
- Audit for assurance: Perform random line and dock audits to validate process and product conformity.
- Measure what matters: Produce dimensional layouts and measurements to support PPAP, SPC, FAIR, ISIR, and continuous improvement.
- Keep records tight: Maintain quality documentation in accordance with the Quality System.
- Be the eyes on the floor: Serve as a roving inspector, applying inspection criteria to identify and document non-conformances.
- Data-driven checks: Collect and analyze data; conduct audits on materials and processes.
- Change with control: Assist with MCR and ECN activities to ensure controlled, documented updates.
- Drive core quality processes: Manage PPAP, FAIR, ISIR, and support APQP deliverables.
- Think globally: Maintain and update IMDS for international regulatory compliance.
- Be customer-connected: Coordinate sample submissions and technical documentation with customers.
- Improve continuously: Contribute to CI efforts with actionable insights and complete forms/reports.
What makes you a match
- Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent; or 6β12 months of relevant experience/training; or a balanced combo of both.
- Experience: Prior work in quality or manufacturing preferred; familiarity with PPAP, SPC, FAIR, MCR, ECN a plus.
- Skills: Interpret blueprints and GD&T; use calipers, micrometers, and gauges; analyze problems; communicate clearly; work independently and as part of a team; proficient in Microsoft Excel.
