JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct product, process, or RCCA investigations and provide technical assistance of resolutions.
- Conduct internal & external audits and provide objective evidence of compliance.
- Conduct source inspection and assist with Supplier Development at Supplier Facility; including documentation/certification review, dimensional inspection, and complete conformance to purchase order requirement as necessary.
- Review technical requirements and approve purchase orders to ensure technical requirements are flowed down.
- Write and revise quality procedures as necessary.
- Assist Quality Manager with developing and implementing quality programs, including tracking, analyzing, and reporting KPI’s.
- Write and follow up on internal and external corrective actions for root cause analysis.
- Analyze, identify, and implement manufacturing and/or business process improvements.
- Perform initial investigation of customer warranty claims.
- Provide support in the way of development and evaluation of process capability, process control plans, analysis of out-of- control conditions, and process audits.
- Develop, implement, and audit inspection and test plans, acceptance criteria, and process/work instructions.
- Assist in establishing technical advice & maintaining an atmosphere of continuous improvement to cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering or other related technical field
- Thorough knowledge of CNC Machining, Engineering Drawing, GD&T, surface treatments, grinding, and NDT as it relates to component manufacturing.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to make critical decisions and problem-solve.
