THE SUCCESSFUL ASSEMBLER

The Assembler that is successful at Wartech is proactive and takes pride in accomplishing individual and team goals. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined and technically skilled, with a willingness to learn and desire to grow. Additionally, a positive attitude and logical approach to problem-solving is essential in Wartech's fast-paced, dynamic assembly department.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is NOT an assembly line position. Tasks fluctuate daily depending on stage of project and ebb and flow of business. Ability to adapt to change and engage in fluctuating roles is essential. Strong attention to detail is essential. If you are seeking repetitive tasks and assembly line work, this role will likely not be a fit for you. However, if you enjoy staying busy, and proactively stay engaged in learning and hands-on projects, you will find this rewarding work.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of specialized, proprietary manufacturing products
• Inspecting and tagging parts
• Loading and unloading trailers with a Hilo and/or Gantry Crane
• Banding and wrapping of pallets
• Delivering and picking up parts from local vendors when needed
• Use drills, angle grinders, and hand tools
• Assist in cleaning/organizing areas of shop

Job Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen or "US Person" in accordance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in manufacturing
