- We are seeking a qualified Water Certified Operator to operate and monitor potable water systems under Class I certification authority. This role is field-based and supports active healthcare and senior-living environments. The ideal candidate is professional, self-directed, mechanically inclined, and highly detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
- Operate and monitor potable water systems under Class I certification in healthcare and senior-living facilities
- Conduct routine system inspections and monitor key parameters such as temperature, disinfectant residuals, pH, and flow
- Collect and record field data, maintain accurate compliance documentation, and support regulatory reporting requirements
- Perform basic mechanical work involving valves, pumps, recirculation systems, mixing valves, and related equipment
- Assist with installation and monitoring of secondary disinfection systems and point-of-use filtration
- Communicate findings clearly to supervisors and maintain a professional presence at client sites
- Active Class I Water Operator Certification (state-issued)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Working knowledge of public water system regulations and OSHA safety standards
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with piping and water systems
- Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
- Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation skills
- Proficiency with basic computer tools (mobile applications, email, Microsoft Word, and Excel)
