Senior Tax CPA / Tax Manager

An established public accounting and advisory firm is seeking an experienced Senior Tax CPA or Tax Manager for a full-time on-site opportunity. This position is ideal for an experienced tax professional with strong public accounting expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage complex client engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Tax & Accounting

• Manage and oversee tax preparation and review processes for individuals, businesses, and other entities.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting documentation.
• Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Develop tax planning strategies and provide proactive financial guidance to clients.
• Review complex tax returns for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  
  

Client Management

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication.
• Serve as a trusted advisor for tax, accounting, and financial matters.
• Lead client engagements and provide strategic recommendations.
  
  

Leadership & Team Support

• Mentor and guide junior accounting and tax professionals.
• Assist with workflow management, project prioritization, and process improvements.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to professional standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required or currently sitting for the CPA exam.
• Prior public accounting experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of tax preparation, tax compliance, accounting, and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
