Job Description
We're looking for a Senior Professional Land Surveyor who thrives in a hybrid player-coach role. You'll lead projects, mentor staff, and serve as the signing authority-while also staying close to the work when needed. What You'll Do
Lead and oversee boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, construction, and specialty surveys.
Serve as the signing and sealing PLS for survey deliverables in compliance with Georgia MTS.
Jump in hands-on when needed-field checks, complex boundary analysis, QA reviews, or client meetings.
Guide and mentor survey technicians, crew chiefs, and junior staff; help build a strong, collaborative team.
Coordinate directly with clients, engineers, contractors, and local officials.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and priorities with a practical, small-firm mindset.
Help shape internal processes, technology adoption, and long-term growth strategies.
Support business development by building relationships and representing the firm professionally.
What You Bring
Required
Active Georgia PLS license.
7-10 years of land surveying experience with increasing responsibility.
Strong boundary analysis skills and deep knowledge of Georgia MTS.
Ability to lead while staying hands-on-comfortable coaching and doing.
Proficiency with GPS, robotic total stations, data collectors, and CAD platforms.
Clear communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
Preferred
Experience in a small-firm or entrepreneurial environment.
Familiarity with GIS, UAV/drone workflows, and LiDAR.
Interest in helping shape business development or operational improvements.

Salary : $95,000 - $125,000
