Senior Litigation Attorney

Position: Senior Litigation Attorney - Commercial Litigation (NJ State Court) We have partnered with a well-established litigation practice that is actively seeking an experienced New Jersey Litigator to join its commercial litigation team. This is a high-responsibility role for a confident courtroom Attorney who can independently manage complex matters from inception through resolution.

The Role

• Handle commercial litigation matters in New Jersey State Courts.
• Draft and argue motions, manage discovery, conduct depositions.
• Appear regularly in court and take matters through trial where required.
• Oversee case strategy, client communication, and file management.
• Maintain a minimum billable expectation of 35 hours per week.
  
  

Requirements

• Compensation: $175,000 - $250,000 (dependent on experience)
• Minimum 6 years' experience in NJ State Court litigation (absolute requirement)
• Strong background in commercial litigation
• Demonstrated courtroom experience and motion practice proficiency
• Ability to independently manage a full caseload
• Active New Jersey Bar licence in good standing
• Schedule: In-office initially; hybrid flexibility subject to discussion
