Duties
- Lead the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, boilers, and plumbing fixtures with precision and efficiency.
- Interpret schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans to ensure accurate system setup and troubleshooting.
- Supervise field service activities, ensuring all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Conduct equipment repairs using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment; perform diagnostics on complex systems like ammonia refrigeration units.
- Mentor and train junior technicians on best practices in construction, appliance repair, property maintenance, and mechanical procedures.
- Manage property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems to optimize performance and longevity.
- Maintain detailed documentation of installations, repairs, schematics updates, and service reports for accountability.
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC/R installation and maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge of construction practices related to mechanical systems and property upkeep.
- Skilled in reading schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals.
- Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems-including ammonia refrigeration-and plumbing installations.
- Mechanical proficiency with tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and boiler maintenance tools.
