You will handle the entire lifecycle of real estate transactions, representing developers, municipal bodies, and private individuals in securing and protecting property interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Closing Management: Review and draft offers to purchase, deeds, and closing statements for commercial and residential properties.
- Title & Survey: Conduct thorough title examinations and review surveys to identify and resolve encumbrances or easements.
- Land Use & Zoning: Navigate municipal ordinances to assist clients with zoning changes, variances, and conditional use permits.
- Leasing: Draft and negotiate complex commercial, agricultural, and residential lease agreements.
- Financing: Work with lenders and borrowers to finalize mortgage documentation and construction loans.
- Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Bar Admission: Active member in good standing with the State Bar of Wisconsin.
- Experience: Experience in Wisconsin real estate law, including a familiarity with state-specific title and disclosure requirements.
- Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage strict closing deadlines.
