This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of complex and sophisticated matters, including real estate development, acquisitions and dispositions, zoning/land use, and commercial leasing.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, leasing, and development projects.
- Provide guidance on land use, zoning, and entitlement matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex real estate contracts and agreements.
- Manage and close real estate transactions independently, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to deliver practical, business-oriented legal solutions.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in commercial real estate law, with a focus on acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, and land use/zoning.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of real property and land use law.
- Skills: Excellent academic credentials, outstanding written and oral communication skills, and the ability to handle complex matters with precision and efficiency.
- Licensing: Active bar license in Maryland
- Salary Range: $220,000 - $325,000 annually (commensurate with location, qualifications, and experience).
