We are seeking a Quality Control (QC) Inspector to support The James J. Rowley Training Center (JJRTC)-the primary training facility for the United States Secret Service (USSS). The JJRTC campus is located at 9200 Powder Mill Road in Laurel, Maryland, covering approximately 490 acres. The facility must deliver a top-tier training environment for USSS Agents, Officers, and civilian support personnel. The Program Manager will provide analytical, planning, design, and construction management support to assist the JJRTC Facility Engineering Branch in fulfilling its mission.
Role Overview
The QC Inspector will ensure that the contractor maintains an effective Quality Control (QC) program and consistently applies QC procedures to manage and verify work quality. Responsibilities include reviewing contract deliverables and submittals for compliance, conducting daily inspections to ensure strict adherence to contract requirements, and requesting corrections when deficiencies are identified.
Additionally, the role involves developing a construction QA plan for each project, covering inspection, testing, reporting procedures, and monitoring corrective actions performed by contractors. The QC Inspector will prepare daily written QA reports documenting discussions with the contractor's QC staff and noting deficiencies. Reports must be completed and submitted within 48 hours.
Participation in pre-construction meetings is required for all work items that require QA oversight. The QC Inspector will also monitor QC inspections and testing activities carried out by contractors. Some evening and weekend work may be necessary, depending on project schedules.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of construction management and/or craft supervision experience on commercial or government construction projects
