What are the responsibilities and job description for the Press Operator – Lead / Senior (2nd & 3rd Shift) position at W3Global?
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the efficiency of the machine and timely completion of orders.
- Responsible for all aspects of the presses mechanical and computer systems including data entry, as well as storage and retrieval of jobs.
- Evaluate print production quality; bring any concerns to the attention of the appropriate supervisor.
- Monitor the overall printing process.
- Troubleshoot production issues that may arise.
- Must maintain and keep press in top operational condition.
- Responsible for the press staff assigned to assist with the workload.
- Responsible for training personnel on the press.
- Responsible for the overall Safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Overtime is required.
- Must be flexible to work 2nd or 3rd shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
