Base Salary
Smithfield Area
- New Graduate Optometrist: Up to $180,000
- Experienced/Established Optometrist: Up to $200,000
- New Graduate Optometrist: Up to $165,000-$170,000
- Experienced/Established Optometrist: Up to $175,000
- Performance bonuses and production incentives available
- High earning potential with the ability to exceed $250,000 annually
The Optometrist will:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations
- Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and conditions
- Prescribe corrective lenses and treatment plans
- Provide preventive and medical eye care consultations
- Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems
- Collaborate with technicians and clinical support staff
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and technology
- Educate patients on eye health and treatment options
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
- Active North Carolina Optometry license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Commitment to continuous learning and patient-centered care

- Ideal candidates will have 3 years of experience, though all experience levels will be considered
