Supervisory Responsibilities

- Perform first-piece and hourly inspections of production materials for color, size, shape, and cosmetic quality while documenting results for incoming and manufactured products.
- Work closely with production employees to ensure understanding of quality expectations.
- Execute laboratory testing in accordance with ASTM procedures and interpret findings to ensure products meet standards and specifications.
- Maintain accurate inspection records in both paper and electronic formats, including reports, charts, and graphs.
- Organize and safely store chemicals, materials, equipment, samples, and data.
- Set up and maintain laboratory and inspection equipment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with cycle count programs.
- Experience as a Quality Technician, Quality Control Inspector, Lab Technician, or the ability to quickly grow into the role.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and database systems.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent physical condition and endurance.
- Manufacturing or plastics industry experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with flooring products, installation, maintenance, and composition is preferred.
- Ability to multitask and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Degree in quality, chemistry, or another related field is preferred.
- Ability to distinguish colors accurately and use measuring tools/gauges effectively.
- Ability to learn and operate floor buffers and various power tools used in inspection processes.
- Degree in chemistry, quality, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of quality-related experience preferred.
- Plastics industry experience is preferred.
- Excellent physical condition and endurance.
- 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM, Sunday night through Friday morning.
- Includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
- Training will be conducted on 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) for approximately 2-3 weeks before transitioning to the regular schedule.
Salary : $24 - $26
