National Inside Sales Specialist / Sales Support
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated National Inside Sales Specialist to support business development efforts and drive revenue growth within the freight forwarding and logistics industry. This role will work closely with the VP of Sales and senior leadership to develop new business opportunities, support overseas agents and partners, and manage RFQ and quoting activities.

We are seeking a motivated National Inside Sales Specialist to support business development efforts and drive revenue growth within the freight forwarding and logistics industry. This role will work closely with the VP of Sales and senior leadership to develop new business opportunities, support overseas agents and partners, and manage RFQ and quoting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and quote DAP/DDP freight costs for agents and clients.
- Respond to sales inquiries, RFQs, and leads in a timely manner.
- Proactively identify, qualify, and engage prospects through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Maintain and manage an active sales pipeline within the CRM system.
- Support the VP of Sales and operations teams with sales activities and customer communications.
- Promote Air & Sea freight services to existing and prospective clients.
- Prepare and distribute newsletters, sales materials, and promotional content.
- Participate in sales campaigns, meetings, and business development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with USA Customs, IATA, TSA, FMC, and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records.
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably within freight forwarding, logistics, transportation, or supply chain industries.
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding operations and quoting processes.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong prospecting, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook.
