Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems
- Work with both low voltage and high voltage wiring systems
- Perform electrical work across commercial and industrial project sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and testing equipment to diagnose and verify system performance
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements
- Collaborate with construction and renovation project teams
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Conduct inspections of tools and equipment
- Follow safety procedures and OSHA standards
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license required
- Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician
- Experience within construction or renovation environments
- Strong knowledge of:
- Low voltage systems
- High voltage systems
- Electrical schematics
- Blueprint interpretation
- NEC standards
- Proficiency with:
- Hand tools
- Power tools
- Ohmmeters
- Electrical testing equipment
- Ability to accurately read technical schematics and construction drawings
- Strong understanding of construction site safety practices
