The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded technician with a strong background in industrial manufacturing, capable of performing a wide variety of maintenance duties to ensure our plant facilities and equipment operate efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities Preventative & Corrective Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on a wide range of industrial equipment, including injection molding machines, batching systems, driers, presses, grinders, saws, mills, and various production equipment.
- Mechanical Systems: Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems-including gearboxes, drive units, piping, and industrial trucks.
- Electrical Systems: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical components, including 480V 3-phase systems, motors, transformers, PLCs, servos, and relay logic.
- Fabrication & Machining: Use lathes, grinders, and drill presses to fabricate or repair parts as needed.
- Facility Maintenance: Perform general building upkeep, including plumbing, boiler servicing, masonry, roof repair, and installation of new equipment.
- Safety & Documentation: Follow all safety protocols (e.g., Lockout/Tagout) and maintain accurate maintenance logs and inventory records.
- Qualifications Experience: A minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in reading electrical schematics, troubleshooting AC/DC circuits, mechanical processing, and hydraulic/pneumatic system repair.
- General Knowledge: Able to read blueprints, plan preventative maintenance, and understand quality, safety, and environmental practices.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
