We are a boutique family office and compliance firm located in the South Coast in Newport County, RI. Our business is primarily made up of closely held businesses and high net worth individuals. The firm offers a highly personalized and tailored approach to tax counseling and estate planning.
Responsibilities
Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, estate, trusts, partnerships and corporations
Assist with annual gift strategies and gift tax compliance
Create tax planning ideas and strategies for individuals and multi-state corporations and partnerships
Prepare and organize tax files and prepare projections
Research complex tax issues
Respond to IRS and state tax notices
Client correspondence
Bookkeeping
Client bill pay and financial statement preparation
Qualifications
EA/CPA or CPA candidate
B.S.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in QuickBooks Accounting Software
Ability to manage multiple projects and requests, attention to detail and a strong work ethic
0-5 Years' Tax Focused Public Accounting Experience Preferred.
