Responsibilities
PreventativeCorrective Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on a wide range of industrial equipment, including injection molding machines, batching systems, driers, presses, grinders, saws, mills, and various production equipment.
Mechanical Systems: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. This involves disassembling equipment, including gearboxes and drive units, to replace and align components like gears, shafts, and bearings. You will also service industrial trucks and hand trucks, and repair damaged piping for air, water, and hydraulic systems.
Electrical Systems: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on industrial equipment. You will diagnose issues with transformers, motors, rectifiers, and wiring. A key part of the role is troubleshooting 480V 3-phase electrical systems, as well as working with PLCs, servos, and relay logic systems.
FabricationRepair: Use machine tools like lathes, drill presses, and grinders to repair or fabricate parts.
FacilityUtilities: Perform miscellaneous building maintenance, including plumbing, boiler maintenance, roof patching, and masonry work. You will also install new plant equipment, construct concrete bases, and connect services such as water and air.
SafetyDocumentation: Adhere to all safety rules and regulations, including Lockout/Tagout protocols. Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance activities, parts used, and inventory needs.
Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience is required.
Technical Skills: You must have a strong aptitude in both mechanical and electrical fields.
Electrical: Proven ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. You should be proficient in troubleshooting electrical circuits, including AC/DC voltage.
Mechanical: You must have extensive knowledge of processing techniques, tools, and materials.
Hydraulic/Pneumatic: Expertise in diagnosing and repairing these systems, including pumps, valves, and cylinders.
General: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, perform preventative maintenance planning, and possess a working knowledge of Quality systems and Health, Safety, and Environmental practices.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physically demanding tasks in a variety of conditions.
Education: A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.

CompensationBenefits
Pay: A competitive salary ranging from $60,000 up to $80,000 depending on experience, performance, and competencies.
Job Type: Full-time, with a schedule of at least 40 hours per week.
