We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Escrow Officer / Assistant to join an escrow team in Southlake, Texas. This is primarily an in-person role, with hybrid flexibility for the right candidate. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced assistant ready to grow into a full officer role or a junior escrow officer seeking career advancement in a professional environment.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent client communication, and a proactive approach to managing transactions from contract to closing.
Key Responsibilities
Support escrow officer in all aspects of the commercial closing process, including document preparation, title clearance, and funding coordination
Prepare settlement statements and closing packages with precision and compliance standards
Communicate effectively with agents, lenders, buyers, sellers, and internal staff to ensure efficient and professional closings
Manage assigned files under the supervision of a senior escrow officer, gradually assuming more responsibility based on experience
Process earnest money deposits, disbursements, and post-closing documentation accurately
Maintain organized electronic files and update status notes in title production systems (SoftPro experience preferred)
Uphold company policies, industry regulations, and confidentiality standards at all times
Qualifications
Minimum 1-3 years of title and escrow experience required
Strong understanding of commercial real estate closing procedures and basic escrow accounting principles
Proficiency with SoftPro or similar title software preferred
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
