The ideal candidate will have strong product knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and a proven background in plumbing supply sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional counter and telephone sales support to wholesale plumbing customers.
- Assist customers in identifying the right plumbing products, parts, and components for their projects.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using Epicor Solar ERP software.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of inventory, pricing, and product offerings.
- Answer technical product questions and recommend suitable alternatives when needed.
- Prepare quotes, follow up on customer inquiries, and ensure timely communication.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, plumbers, and wholesale accounts.
- Work closely with the sales and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced wholesale distribution environment.
- Minimum 3 years of plumbing counter sales experience within a plumbing supply house, distributor, or wholesale plumbing environment.
- Extensive knowledge of plumbing parts, fixtures, fittings, valves, pipes, and related components.
- Proven experience serving wholesale customers in a counter sales or inside sales role.
- Hands-on experience using ERP systems, with Epicor Solar experience required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy, customer-focused environment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred but not required).
- Previous experience working for a wholesale plumbing distributor or supply house.
- Established relationships with local contractors, plumbers, or property management companies in the San Diego area.
- Strong understanding of plumbing industry products, applications, and customer needs.
Salary : $35 - $37
