- Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams
- Track costs and assist with budgeting throughout the project lifecycle
- Meet bid deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- Previous experience as an estimator (construction or related field preferred)
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Proficiency with estimating software and Excel
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
