Key Responsibilities
- Program, set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathes and/or milling machines.
- Operate manual machine tools as required.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and customer specifications.
- Compute and document dimensions, tolerances, and machining requirements.
- Determine appropriate machining operations and plan the most efficient sequence of production.
- Verify product dimensions using precision measuring instruments.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for machining processes and productivity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of machining-related courses or vocational training preferred.
- Experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines.
- Ability to operate manual machining equipment.
- Strong understanding of machining principles and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to visualize finished products from technical drawings.
