CNC Programmer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for a full-time, first-shift position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC and manual machine tools to machine castings according to customer specifications and engineering drawings. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathes and/or milling machines.
• Operate manual machine tools as required.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and customer specifications.
• Compute and document dimensions, tolerances, and machining requirements.
• Determine appropriate machining operations and plan the most efficient sequence of production.
• Verify product dimensions using precision measuring instruments.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for machining processes and productivity.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of machining-related courses or vocational training preferred.
• Experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines.
• Ability to operate manual machining equipment.
• Strong understanding of machining principles and manufacturing processes.
